Leopardstown Grade 1 next up for Martello Martello Tower is set to return to Grade One level in the Neville Hotels Novice Chase at Leopardstown on December 29th. The eight-year-old, who won the 2015 Albert Bartlett Novices' Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival, opened his account over fences at Fairyhouse on December 3rd. Trainer Mags Mullins said: "I was delighted with Martello and he's come out of the race really well. "He's a funny horse as he only ever does enough, but he jumps fences well and hopefully we'll have a bit of fun with him. "We're very happy with him and I'd say he'll go to Leopardstown for the three-mile novice."
