Leopardstown and Limerick inspect

Prospects of racing resuming in Ireland on Tuesday currently hinge on inspections tomorrow morning, with both tracks's keeping their fingers crossed for a significant thaw.

Leopardstown was badly hit with up to 12 inches of snow during the past week, and the Foxrock venue is still covered in snow.

Limerick was found to be unfit for racing on inspection this morning resulting in the meeting scheduled for tomorrow being put back to Thursday December 30.

The Greenmount Park executive now plan to have a three day Festival meeting from December 28-30 but that is dependant on the frozen ground thawing out.
