Foildubh will go for the Lexus Chase over Christmas, but only if Paul Carberry is available to ride him.

The nine-year-old son of Woods Of Windsor, who has eight wins to his name, fell at Cork last Sunday in the Hilly Way Chase, but is none the worse for that fall.

Trained in Co Tipperary by John Ryan, the bay gelding is set to be pitched in at the highest level at Leopardstown, but only if Paul Carberry is available to ride.

Ryan said at Downpatrick this afternoon: "Foildubh is perfect, he is 100%. He is in great form, and he will probably run in the Lexus if Paul Carberry is available.

"If his isn’t available we will look at something else for him."
