"That was great. It's the first winner for the club (Irish National Stud Breeding and Racing Club)," explained Willie McCreery after Invincible Lia took the honours in race two at Clonmel, the Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) Maiden.

Billy Lee did the steering on the nicely-supported (from around 11/2 this morning into a returned 100/30) daughter of Invincible Spirit and she proved two and a quarter lengths superior to odds-on chance Creme De La having led from under two furlongs out.

"They have two in training. They also have a Showcasing filly that should run in June," further disclosed McCreery.

"She was quite backward last year. She's very very honest - as tough as boots, even though she's not over-big.

"She improved a lot from her first run at Dundalk.

"They went fast up front and Billy got her rolling down the hill to come up the hill."
