Lieutenant bids for more Bowl glory First Lieutenant produced a gutsy performance when landing last season's running of the Betfred Bowl Chase and the Mouse Morris trained nine-year-old lines up for another crack at the prize at Aintree on Thursday. Menorah and Silviniaco Conti, second and third last year, line up again while recent Ryanair Chase hero Dynaste bids to enhance his growing reputation. The David Pipe-trained grey justified stable confidence as he landed the Grade One prize at the Cheltenham Festival. There is a second Irish challenger in the shape of the Tom Taaffe-trained Argocat, winner of the Red Mills Chase at Gowran in February. Houblon Des Obeaux, from the Venetia Williams stable and ninth in the Betfred Cheltenham Gold Cup, completes the sextet.
