Sea Light could be back at Leopardstown after his Christmas Festival heroics to contest the richly endowed Boylesports.com Hurdle on January 25.

A real thorn in the side of the bookmakers when scoring twice in four days at the Foxrock venue, the progressive Charles Byrnes-trained gelding is climbing the handicap ratings quickly enough to at least warrant an entry for the two-miler.

Victorious in the prestigious event with Dromlease Express in 2004, Byrnes said: "I'll probably make an entry for Sea Light. It would be very tight as to whether he'd get in or not - he's on 117. I have a feeling that it would be a 120 horse that would be the bottom weight.

"One rated 117 got in last year so I'll make an entry anyway and if he gets balloted out they'll (the owners, the Come Home Sober Syndicate) get their money back.

"There definitely isn't the time to run him again beforehand. He stays well, which you need to win that race."
