Today is the special fundraising meeting at Limerick for paralysed jockeys JT McNamara and Jonjo Bright.

The eight-race card gets under way at 1.15pm. The first five races form the jump jockeys' challenge between riders based in Britain and those in Ireland. Points are awarded depending on finishing positions and team colours are worn on helmets.

The champion jockeys handicap at 3.55 sees a top-class line-up of jockeys. Irish flat champions Johnny Murtagh, Pat Smullen, Joseph O'Brien, Declan McDonogh and Jamie Spencer take on their jumping counterparts Ruby Walsh, Barry Geraghty and Davy Russell. Champion point-to-point rider Derek O'Connor also lines up in addition to AP McCoy and Kieren Fallon who have multiple British jockeys' crowns to their names.

Bids will be taken in the Silent Auction Marquee up until after the fifth race (3.20pm) for 70 fantastic lots among which is a visit to see Frankel, with a stay in the Jockey Club Rooms for four people, a morning on the gallops with Juddmonte racing manager Teddy Grimthorpe and then a day's racing at Ascot's Qipco Champions Day with lunch thrown in.

The going remains Good following a light shower overnight.
