Off Limits appeared to have plenty to do on the book prior to the featured Irish Stallion Farms EBF Cairn Rouge Stakes but David Wachman's charge showed the benefit of a two-month break to put up a career best in this Listed race.

The extended mile event for fillies was run at a decent pace as Pour Deux took the ten-runner field along, and Military Angel took over in front at the two-furlong pole.

However Off Limits, a maiden winner at Leopardstown last autumn and not ignored in the market despite being one of the lowest rated here with an official mark of just 86, was produced to challenge by Wayne Lordan a furlong out.

The 6/1 chance struck the front about 100 yards out and kept on well to score by a length and a quarter.

Military Angel took the runner-up spot, two and a half lengths ahead of fellow 7/2 joint favourite Easter

Wachman said, "We thought a lot of her in the spring but she was just going off colour when she ran in the Guineas Trial but is back to herself today.

"She should give us plenty of fun for the summer and is a good, straightforward filly. Wayne said she had plenty left and was pricking her ears near the line."
