Aurelia Cotta turned out again quickly to record back-to-back success at Leopardstown tonight in the ten furlong apprentice handicap.

The filly had given Eddie Linehan his first training success at Gowran last night and he didn't have long to wait for his second.

The trainer's brother Denis produced the 6/1 shot to lead over a furlong out and she soon powered clear to record a three-and-a-quarter length success over Cullentry Royal

"She's a tough mare. I was confident last night but she had a 5lb penalty here," said the winning trainer.

"We have had fierce problems travelling her, so we stayed near Gowran last night instead of going back to Cork and up again today. She has gone ballistic in the box before.

"She pulled out grand this morning, and I'd say we will keep going with her while the iron's hot. Her best form seems to be going left-handed."
