Lisnamult Lad has Cheltenham options on Saturday Trainer Ian Donoghue is aiming his Topham Chase runner-up Lisnamult Lad at Cheltenham next weekend, where the eight-year-old bids for a second course success. A three-time winner for previous trainer John McConnell before moving to Donoghue last year, Lisnamult Lad landed a novice handicap chase at Cheltenham last October before concluding his season with a runner-up placing at Aintree in April. Donoghue reports "Lisnamult Lad will probably go to Cheltenham next Saturday for a either Pertemps qualifier or a handicap chase. "We decided to give him a break after Aintree because when we got him, we never got to give him a proper holiday. We gave him the whole summer off and he has filled out and seems strong. We know him well enough now so I'm not worried about going to Cheltenham without a run and he seems in a good place."
