Listed Limerick contest next up for Meain Inis Meain will head to Limerick for the Martin Moloney Stakes for his next start where connections will be hoping no Group One winners are lurking. The dual-purpose performer had the misfortune of bumping into Jim Bolger's former Dewhurst winner Parish Hall who was making his comeback from injury in the Alleged Stakes earlier in the month. Trainer Denis Hogan and owner Barry Connell may then look at prizes in England for him. "He goes to Limerick on Sunday (May 5th) for a Listed race - the Martin Moloney Stakes. It's a mile-and-a-half race," said Hogan "He was unfortunate to come up against a Dewhurst winner in the Curragh. He probably wouldn't have run if they'd got rain and that would have suited us of course. "He was unlucky to come up against him but he ran a stormer. "A mile and four around Limerick should suit even better. "We'll stick to the flat with him for the moment. I'll have a chat with Barry and see what he wants to do. "We'll see how he gets on in Limerick first but there could be a race or two for him across the water. "There are plenty of races there for him if he's able to show his worth again at Listed level."
