The first of two meetings this week at Dundalk takes place this afternoon and the action gets under way at 2.32.

The seven-furlong handicap at 4.02 is the feature race and Anthony McCann's consistent performer Little Empire heads the market at 9/4.

Gray returns to home soil for feature rides

Dundalk native Shane Gray, attached to Kevin Ryan's yard in north Yorkshire, returns home for two rides and partners Kevin Coleman's Brewing in the feature.

A six-time winner for William Haggas, Brewing has dropped a good bit in the ratings and ran his best race for current connections when a well-backed fifth at this venue earlier this month.

Gray was on board Mount Ruapehu when the Invincible Spirit gelding won at Newcastle last month and renews his association with Mark Fahey's runner in the 0-60 seven-furlong handicap at 3.32.
