Trainer Paul Deegan has revealed impressive Naas maiden winner Little Rooster has been sold to continue her racing career in America.

The two-year-old made an excellent start to her career with victory at the Woodlands Park track at the start of the month and the form has already been boosted by the subsequent victory of the runner-up, Aidan O'Brien's Toogoodtobetrue.

Deegan said: "She has been sold to race in California and while I'm not certain about her exact arrangements, she should have a big future and looks very exciting.

"We probably would have gone for the Debutante Stakes with her next and while it is a pity to lose her, it was good business for her owner."
