Livenka 'growing on' Lyons Livenka readily landed the odds with a thoroughly professional display in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Maiden over six furlongs at Fairyhouse. Having finished third in her first couple of maidens, She went off 5/6 favourite to oblige. Colin Keane kept it simple from stall one and soon pushed her into the lead. The Bated Breath filly dictated thereafter and increased her advantage with two furlongs to travel. She was far from troubled in shedding her maiden tag although fast-finishing Star Of State (13/2) whittled the gap down to a length and a half at the winning post. Silver Kiss dropped to third at 20/1. Ger Lyons said: “I ran her over the wrong trip the last day and she was just a bit gassy. I left her a bit fresh. “I had no problem running her back quickly over this trip. “Obviously, we’ll discuss it with everybody, but she holds an entry in the Ballyhane Stakes (Naas) and that would be her first option as there is good prize-money there. “Then obviously black-type would be very important, we think she’s a stakes filly, but we’ll let her go there. “She’s muscling out and she’s growing on me. She’s going to be a fine model at three. Until she tells us otherwise, I’d be surprised if we stretched her any further than six (furlongs) at the moment.” Additional reporting by Gary Carson
