Location aiming for black-type Impressive Dundalk winner On Location is set to bypass Wednesday's Listed Heritage Stakes at Leopardstown due to the testing conditions. Jim Ryan bought the filly for $85,000 at Keeneland last November and she made a big impression on her Irish debut at the start of this month when running out an easy four-and-a-half-length winner of a maiden on the all-weather. The trainer had informed stewards before the event that she had been showing signs of being in season, but the daughter of Street Cry had little trouble winning despite those fears. Achieving some black type is now the main aim with the four-year-old, who is a daughter of US Grade One winner Film Maker. "She won't run on Wednesday as the ground has gone too soft and it looks too hot a race," said Ryan. "I'll probably put her back in on Sunday for the Listed race (Alleged Stakes at the Curragh) and see if the ground dries out. She's a Street Cry so wants decent ground. I think the forecast is good for the week. "The plan now with her is to get some black type and if it doesn't work out on Sunday, she'll go to Gowran for the fillies' race there (Listed Victor McCalmont Memorial Stakes on April 26)."
