Logic recuperating at Martinstown Paul Nolan's classy chaser Defy Logic is recuperating back at JP McManus' Martinstown Stud. A Grade One winner last Christmas, when he had the high-class pair of Trifolium and Champagne Fever behind him, he then broke a blood vessel in the Irish Arkle. Nolan gave him the rest of the season off in the hope of starting afresh this campaign, but he was ruled out with a tendon injury. "Defy Logic went back to Martinstown and we won't see him again until we get word that everything is all right," said Nolan. "It was an awful loss for us to have him on the sidelines this season. "He's in the best care in the world as regards how he'll be looked after and what treatment he needs."
