Longshot Starman completes Cork double for de Bromhead The Fitzgerald Construction Building 'A' Rated Homes Handicap over a mile was Cork's finale and it produced a big-priced winner in Starflow (25/1). Ridden by Cian Cusack for Henry de Bromhead, the Starman gelding was driven along early to get a prominent position and went second after a furlong and a half. In front on the home turn, the Roger Brookhouse-owned three-year-old was ridden two furlongs out and stayed on well to beat slow-starting, fast-finishing 11/8 favourite Reponse Finale by three-parts of a length. Seventh at Gowran on his handicap debut in June, Starman was completing a double for de Bromhead who had landed the opener with Walk On Harry.  "His work at home seemed to be sufficient in our minds to win at this level, but he hadn't been genuine in his races," said the winning rider.  "We put blinkers on, I bounced him out and rode him forwardly.  "Blinkers played their part with him, I got a lovely tow into the race and he is rated lowly enough to go forward again.
