Lord Team Mull Options Bible Lord's participation in the Hennessy Cognac Gold Cup is 'very much on hold' following his seasonal reappearance. The lightly-raced six-year-old was an encouraging fourth to Principe Azzurro at Bangor on Wednesday in his first outing since March.Bible Lord is a best-priced 20-1 for the Hennessy at Newbury on December 1, but is by no means certain to make the cut as he has only been allotted 8st 6lb.'The Hennessy is very much on hold ? it depends what the weights do and how he comes out of this. It wouldn't be out of the question but by no means is he a certainty,' said trainer Andy Turnell.'He'll go for those middle-weight handicaps. We'll play it by ear and see how he comes along. He's rated 131 so he can get in these 0-135 and 0-140 handicaps. I'll give him a few weeks and see what pops up.'You'd have to be a little bit disappointed but at the same time it took him three runs to get fit last year. I suppose it was asking a bit much first time out this season.'He's a big heavy horse and he takes a bit of getting fit but I'd rather he'd have won of course.'I was pleased enough really so you couldn't be disappointed and he jumped very well considering his inexperience.'(C) PA Sport
