Love Lockdown wins Group 3 in Kempton

The Ger Lyons trained Love Lockdown at 7/2 won the Totepool Siernia Stakes (Group 3) at Kempton today under Keagan Latham.

The grey Verglas colt was was driven to the front inside the final furlong and stuck on well to record a length and half win over 7/1 shot Iver Bridge Lad.

He already completed a hat-trick in Ireland earlier in the season before finishing a disappointing sixth in the Railway Stakes behind Alfred Nobel. He ran well to finish third at York in a Listed event last month but bounced back to his best today.

Favourite Monsieur Chevalier never travelled with any fluency and made limited late headway into third.

The Andy Oliver trained In Some Respect with Seb Saunders aboard finished fourth of the seven runners.
