Luveen lands first 'track' win Howya Luveen opened her ‘track’ account on her return from an absence at Ballinrobe, in the Adare Manor Opportunity Handicap Chase. The Ross O’Sullivan-trained mare, a point-to-point winner in April 2024, was making her first outing since falling at Punchestown last November. She was produced by John Shinnick to challenge over the second last tonight and the 12/1 shot bagged the lead running down to the final fence. The daughter of Yeats stayed on well in the closing stages to post a six length win over Warm In Gorey. Shinnick said:- "The ground brought the lads in front of me back and my one jumped very well. She had a good blow going to the second-last and I think she'll improve off this." "She probably wants further on better ground but the shorter trip actually worked in her favour today on this ground.  "I'm delighted and thanks to Ross and the owners for putting me up."
