Lynam hoping for good ground Sole Power heads a competitive nine-runner line-up for the Group 3 Market Slide Flying Five Stakes at the Curragh on Sunday having been a late withdrawal from last week's Nunthorpe Stakes because of the ground. With conditions suitable at headquarters, Lynam is happy to run the four-year-old, who has to give weight all round. And the Co Meath handler is keen to get Sole Power back on the track as he intends to go for the Betfred Sprint Cup at Haydock the following Saturday. "He seems in good form and the ground should be right, so we're going to run him," said Lynam. "He has been unlucky with the ground but he's ready to go. He'll go to Haydock next week as well if the ground is right. He's very fresh, he needs to run." Amour Propre crosses the Irish Sea from Henry Candy's Kingston Warren stable having finished second to Masamah in both his starts this year. "We had thought about going to Beverley but we've decided to go to Ireland with him," said Candy. "He's in good order, but we wouldn't want any rain at the Curragh. He couldn't have done much more this season and we are very happy with him." Move In Time is the only other British challenger, and he ran a fine race when runner-up to Inxile at Tipperary on his latest start. "Move In Time is a smashing horse and whatever he does for the rest of this year, he'll be even better next season," said the three-year-old's trainer Bryan Smart. "He ran well in Ireland last time when he was second to Inxile and he wasn't far behind Margot Did (subsequent Nunthorpe Stakes winner) at Sandown." Like Sole Power, Invincible Ash has been switched to run nearer home after being taken out of the Nunthorpe due to the ground conditions on the Knavesmire. "We took her to York, but we didn't run her because of the ground," said her trainer Michael Halford. "She's in good form and as long as the ground doesn't deteriorate, she'll take her chance. I'll be disappointed if the ground does get worse. There are showers forecast but it's good ground. As long as it stays that way she'll run. "She's run well there in the past and likes it there. It looks a hot race, but we're hoping for a good run."
