Summit Surge, a late withdrawal from the Listed Glencairn Stakes at the same course last week due to soft ground, is to be joined in the race by sole English raider Captain Marvelous, Jim Bolger´s Akua´Ba, Dermot Weld´s Campfire Glow while Excelerate, Great War Eagle, Prince Shaun and Rock Of Rochelle complete the line-up. Regarding Summit Surge, Lyons reported "He thrives on his racing and put on 5lb kilos after his last win in the Curragh. He takes it all really well," said Lyons. "I pulled him out of a Listed race at Leopardstown last week at the last minute because the ground turned soft. "If it´s firm, or good to firm tomorrow I think he´ll run a big race."
