MURTAGH TO EXTEND CHINESE LICENCE

The finishing date of Johnny Murtagh`s club licence in Hong Kong has been amended because he will be riding in the fourth World Jockeys` Series at Santa Anita, California, next month.

The Hong Kong Jockey Club, having excused Murtagh from Sha Tin duty the same day, has granted him a week`s extension. Murtagh`s Hong Kong licence runs as of next Monday, which represents no change on the original plan. However, his stint now ends on March 31st as opposed to March 25th.
