Vroum Vroum Mag looks set to go off a short-priced favourite for the Kerry Group EBF Mares Novice Chase at Cork on Sunday.

The French import really impressed on her first outing for Willie Mullins when putting in a fine round of jumping to take a mares' beginners chase at Wexford last month and now tests the water at Grade Three level.

"She looks a nice recruit to the yard and if she can improve on her Wexford run this would look the right type of race for her next appearance," said the champion trainer.

Mullins' brother Tom saddles one of six rivals to the likely favourite in the two-mile-one-furlong contest, with the consistent Elsie expected to go well.

The daughter of Milan is already a four-time winner, including over fences at Sligo, and will bid for further valuable black type having made the frame on all three outings since at Grade Three level.

Mullins said: "Willie's mare is the obvious one in the race. I hope we might be able to give her a race, but she was very impressive in Wexford.

"Our mare remains in good form and I'm hoping for a big run."

Jimmy Mangan sends out Perfect Promise and Sabrina Harty is represented by Bamba's Crown.

The seven runner line-up is completed by the John Ryan-trained Our Katie, Garrett Ahern's Kalico Kalista and the John Cullen-trained Vole Au Vent.
