Presenting Mahler will attempt to go one better than 12 months ago in the MW Hickey Memorial Chase at Wexford on Monday.

Trainer John Ryan reports the seven-year-old mare to be in prime condition for the Listed contest over two miles and seven furlongs, in which she was beaten eight lengths by Bay Of Freedom last season.

"She's probably up against it on the ratings, but she's in very good form and the likelihood is she'll go there for her next run," he said.

"There's a graded race at Naas she might go for as well. She's also well handicapped over hurdles so I'll look at that, too.

"She's in lovely form and has won five races and €93,000 in prize money."

Ryan is set to run both Draycott Place and Kylecrue in the Faber Audiovisuals Handicap Hurdle at Galway on Sunday.

"Draycott Place goes for the hurdle race at Galway on Sunday. I think he'll run well," said the County Tipperary-based handler.

"Kylecrue might run in that as well. There's a graded race at Navan he might go for and later he could go to Cheltenham for the Paddy Power. He's in super form."
