The Very Man continued his winning ways on his return to action at Roscommon this afternoon with a game front-running performance.

Having won twice in March the Gigginstown gelding picked up where he left off in the Thanks To All Our Frontline Workers Hurdle.

Sean O'Keeffe bounced out in front on the Jeremy gelding and he kept on well when asked for an effort after the second last.

An error at the final flight didn't halt his momentum and he held the late challenge of stable-mate, and fellow 13/8 joint favourite, Recent Revelations to record a neck success.

“We thought it was going to be a toss up between the two of them,” said assistant Ian Amond.

“The winner had been working well at home and the other lad had a bit of fitness on his side. The two of them ran well.

“He stayed going well, he'd want that trip and more.”
