Manduro To Tackle Big Two Andre Fabre's Manduro is likely to clash with David Junior and Electrocutionist in next week's eagerly anticipated Prince of Wales's Stakes, after it was confirmed that the four-year-old has been supplemented for the mile-and-a-quarter contest. The progressive colt was a ready winner of the Prix d'Harcourt at Longchamp in April, where he beat subsequent Group One scorer Corre Caminos by half-a-length, and he was unlucky not to register a top-level success himself when edged out by Laverock in last month's Prix d'Ispahan.Manduro has come out of that race in great form and has pleased his trainer since, persuading connections to fork out the #25,000 supplementary fee for Wednesday's Group One contest, where the likely quick going holds no fears for the team.Paul Harley, racing manager to owner Baron von Ullmann, explained: 'Mr Fabre is absolutely delighted with him, so we have supplemented him for the Prince of Wales's.'The ground was pretty quick the other day in Paris when he was second in the Prix d'Ispahan, so it should be fine for him,' he added. Ouija Board's name also appears amongst the ten contenders confirmed at the five-day declaration stage, although Ed Dunlop's popular mare is also still engaged in Saturday's Hardwicke Stakes. David Junior will be having his first start in Britain since landing last season's Champion Stakes at Newmarket, but underlined his credentials with a stunning three-and-a-half-length victory in the Dubai Duty Free in March.Electrocutionist was also in action at Nad Al Sheba, where he overcame a poor draw to land the richly-endowed Dubai World Cup, and will bid to confirm Godolphin's apparent resurgence with victory on Wednesday.Other notable entries include Sir Michael Stoute's Notnowcato, who has impressed in lesser company this season, and Corre Caminos, who bolted up in the Prix Ganay before disappointing behind Manduro in the race won by Laverock last time. The field is completed by Ace, Belenus, Kandidate and Pride . David Junior is 7-4 favourite with Coral to take the Group One honours. Prince Of Wales's Stakes, Coral bet: 7-4 David Junior, 5-2 Electrocutionist, 6-1 Ouija Board, 13-2 Pride, 10-1 Manduro, Notnowcato, 14-1 Ace, Corre Caminos, 40-1 Kandidate, 50-1 Belenus.(C) PA Sport
