Mangan Dreaming as double landed

Ever Dreaming got back up in the shadow of the post to claim a dramatic victory in the second division of the Beamish Raceday Handicap Hurdle at Ballinrobe.

It was a double for trainer/jockey combination John Morrison and Paddy Mangan, who had struck in the first with Much Acclaimed .

Ever Dreaming looked booked for second as Young Patriarch swept past on the home bend.

Mangan got a great tune from his mount on the run-in, however, flying home to pip that rival on the line by a head.

"She's a mare that's always in season and she's just coming around again," revealed trainer's representative Darren Pratt.

"She had run three weeks in a row but prior to that she had the form to win this."
