Ridasiyna came from well off the pace to land the Prix de l'Opera Longines at Longchamp.

Niall McCullagh set a strong pace aboard John Oxx's proven mudlark Manieree in the 10 furlong Group One contest and had the field well strung out behind as he entered the straight.

Manieree was soon treading water leaving William Buick and Izzi Top - who had led the chasing pack - to take up the running possibly sooner than ideal but with victory still appearing to be on the cards.

However, the Christophe Lemaire-ridden winner - unbeaten until her last-time-out defeat in the Prix de la Nonette - finished with a rare rattle from off the pace to cut down the favourite some way from the post to take the honours for trainer Mikel Delzangles.

Izzi Top just held on for second ahead of the Falmouth Stakes winner Giofra (who did well to make up the ground to get into contention for minor honours having raced in rear) and Pirika. Manieree finished seventh.
