Manning appeal dismissed Kevin Manning has had his appeal against a one-day whip ban, picked up at Roscommon on Monday, dismissed at a hearing at Leopardstown this afternoon. Manning was adjudged to have been in breach of Regulation 10 3 (e) in that he used his whip other than down the shoulder or on the hind quarters when riding Escondida to finish second in the EBF Auction Maiden. Manning will now miss the Ballinrobe fixture on June 23rd. The rider had previously gone approximately eleven months since his last breach of the whip regulations.
