Many Clouds but no rain forecast for Aintree The going has changed slightly at Aintree ahead of today's Grand National meeting following 7mm of rain overnight. The Hurdle course and Grand National course are both described as Soft, Good to Soft in places. The Mildmay course is Good to Soft. It is due to be a bright and sunny day in the Liverpool area with the big race off at 5:15pm. Gowran Park remains Heavy ahead of this afternoon's fixture with a dry day also forecast for the Kilkenny track. Tramore tomorrow is also Heavy with 4mm of rain at the course overnight. There is rain and strong winds forecast for tomorrow.
