Svenman is all the rage for division two of the three mile maiden hurdle in Tipperary.

John 'Shark' Hanlon's charge has been backed from 25/1 to 11/2 for this race at 4.55pm.

The six-year-old gelding has been pulled up in a couple of point-to-points before finishing out the back of a novice hurdle in Kilbeggan this month, on his first start for Hanlon.

Jockey Shane Fenelon takes 7lb off his back.

The odds-on favourite in this race, Recite A Prayer is easy to back.

At Ballinrobe, bottom-weight Oneknightmoreihope is as short as 9/4 from 8/1 for the two mile six furlong handicap hurdle at 5.45pm. Simply Shabra is very strong in the market for the maiden hurdle at 5.15pm.

Tom Gibney, who had a winner in Ballinrobe yesterday, saddles Bold Emperor in the beginners' chase at 7.15pm and he is attracting support.
