Ferdia is generally 5/1 from 14/1 for the Happy Christmas To All Handicap Hurdle in Thurles (2.10pm) over an extended two miles.

John Ryan and Danny Mullins team up with this five-year-old gelding who was last seen staying on for third in a rated novice hurdle at Punchestown this month. Palace Rock who fell in the Lartigue at Listowel in September, has also attracted support. Aarons Day Futurum Regem who won in Navan yesterday, and Andys Flame are non runners in this contest reducing the field to 13 runners.
