Marnane duo set for Wokingham David Marnane is doubly represented in Saturday's Wokingham Stakes at the Royal meeting. Dandy Boy, who landed the big Ascot handicap in 2012, is joined by talented stable companion Nocturnal Affair. Marnane said: "They're drawn on different sides of the track, so we have both angles covered, and the two of them are in good shape. "Dandy Boy has won two big pots at Ascot already and the question is, how much of the old ability is still there? "On home-work, he appears to be as good as ever and he's still running to a good level on the track. "If you forget Nocturnal Affair's last run you'd say he goes there with a very good chance. "He's won a Portland Handicap at Doncaster, a Listed race at Dundalk and a race in Dubai, so he's well travelled. "He likes a big field and a strong gallop on decent ground and it's a while since he had all those conditions. "They are both in the twilight of their careers, but they are both showing me enough at home to suggest they deserve to be here and hopefully they'll run well."
