David Marnane's two Dubai stars Elleval and Jamesie are resting up ahead of a domestic return during the summer.

The former has won at the last two Carnival meetings, this February in a valuable handicap on the Tapeta, and finished up with seventh in the Godolphin Mile.

Jamesie was making his first visit to Dubai and collected a six-furlong handicap among five decent starts.

"Both were out in a field since World Cup night and had a good break," Marnane told At The Races.

"Jamesie just started out again this week and we'll aim him for Listed and Group races later on in the year. Hopefully we'll get him back out in Dubai again next year.

"Elleval also progressed through the ranks, doing really well. He's won on the turf and will probably have the same campaign as he did in Ireland last year and will also be back in Dubai."

Marnane is hosting his first ever open day this Sunday morning and anyone is welcome to his stable at Bansha in County Tipperary.
