Master is Kentucky bound Master Of Hounds, just touched off in the UAE Derby on the Tapeta surface at Meydan last month, is to be aimed at the Kentucky Derby in Churchill Downs on May 7. The Aidan O'Brien-trained colt was placed in Group 1 company last autumn when third to Casamento in the Racing Post Trophy at Doncaster, and subsequently travelled over to Churchill Downs to finish sixth in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf. A statement from Ballydoyle confirmed that Master Of Hounds is on schedule for the Kentucky Derby. He will do another few bits of work before travelling over to the States on May 2.
