Matron in mind for Persuasive Connections of Persuasive have not ruled out running in the Matron Stakes at Leopardstown in September after the talented filly took her unbeaten record to four in the Sandringham Handicap at Royal Ascot. John Gosden's filly holds several Group One entries, including the Tattersalls 250th Year Falmouth Stakes at Newmarket next Friday, but plans are up in the air at this stage. "It's a possibility that she could go for the Falmouth," said Chris Richardson, chief executive of owners Cheveley Park Stud. "I think it will be very tough for her. I wouldn't say it was definite, I would say it's only a possibility. "We know she has got talent and has a good future. It was a nice entry and she deserves it, but there are lots of other possibilities for her. "We have just let her get over the race at Ascot. Mr and Mrs Thompson (of Cheveley Park Stud) will speak to John Gosden and see he says. "There are things like the Matron Stakes later in the year. It may be we just creep and creep with her."
