Henry de Bromhead and Billy Lee teamed up to land the extended 1m2f GAIN The Advantage Series Handicap at Cork with Matt Connor

Lee sent him on racing past the two pole, but they were soon challenged by Rattle And Hum down the centre of the track.

When Rattle And Hum edged right inside the final furlong, there wasn't much between the pair both in proximity and distance, however Matt Connor kept finding for Lee.

He was kept up to his work to prevail by a neck at 9/2 from the 9/1 runner-up. Whisky On The Hill flashed home for third, a further short head away at 33/1.

Lee said: "I had a good position, he travelled well and, while he was green when he got to the front and gave the second horse a chance, he stayed well to the line.

"He is a horse who could go 1m4f so you'd be hoping there is more to come."
