Maybe & Collina head Moyglare 11 Maybe and La Collina once again go head-to-head in a fascinating rematch as 11 fillies were declared this morning for the €225,000 Moyglare Stud Stakes to be run at the Curragh on Sunday. The pair were separated by a neck when Maybe (carrying 3lb overweight) came out on top in the Group 3 Silver Flash Stakes over seven furlongs at Leopardstown last month, and both fillies have since scored at a higher level. Kevin Prendergast's La Collina successfully took on the colts in the Group 1 Keeneland Phoenix Stakes, while on the same Curragh card earlier this month the Aidan O'Brien-trained Maybe extended her unbeaten run to four when impressively landing the Keeneland Debutante Stakes (Group 2). The main defectors from the Group 1 event are Mick Channon's Samitar, who goes instead for the £100,000 Tattersalls Millions Median Auction Stakes at Newmarket tomorrow, and Dermot Weld's Yellow Rosebud who was a staying on second behind Maybe last time. Newbridge Silverware Search for a Style Icon will also be an attraction on the day with the chance for one lucky lady to win a Newbridge Silverware Voucher valued at €5,000 as well as a presentation piece from their stunning collection. The panel of judges will include Gay Byrne, the newly crowned Rose of Tralee Tara Talbot, 2011 Miss Ireland Holly Carpenter, together with fashion journalist Bairbre Power. The action gets underway at 2.15pm with the ground currently described as good to firm on the round course and good on the straight course.
