McCOY AND BLEU TO BE REUNITED Tony McCoy will be back aboard Edredon Bleu at Sandown next month as the nine-year-old begins the build-up in his bid to win the Queen Mother Champion Chase for a second successive year. The champion jockey will partner Henrietta Knight`s star two-miler at the Esher track in the Elmbridge Handicap Chase on February 3rd.The ride on Edredon Bleu has been shared between McCoy, who landed the two-mile showpiece at Cheltenham on owner Jim Lewis`s gelding last March, and Jim Culloty.Edredon Bleu took the Peterborough Chase at Huntingdon for the third successive year in November under Culloty. And he was also in the saddle when Edredon Bleu tried three miles for the first time when sixth behind First Gold in the Pertemps King George VI Chase at Kempton on Boxing Day.Miss Knight said today: 'Edredon Bleu will now go for the Elmbridge Chase at Sandown and Tony McCoy will be back on board.'Jim (Culloty) has ridden him twice this season but we don`t want to change the routine from last season as we are a bit superstitious and Tony rode him when he was third in that race last year and will ride him at Cheltenham.'Edredon Bleu is 9-2 second favourite with Ladbrokes for the Queen Mother Champion Chase.
