Fairyhouse is on the agenda for Heads Up after connections decided to skip Cheltenham this week with the Blue Bresil gelding.

John McConnell’s charge was runner-up in the Champion Bumper last season but boiled over on his last visit to Prestbury Park in January.

He got back on track when taking a novice hurdle at Punchestown last month and McConnell has decided to keep his charge at home this season.

The six-year-old has options at Fairyhouse, in the two-mile Hardy Eustace Novice Hurdle and the two-and-a-half mile Easter Festival Novice Hurdle.

"He's good - he'll go to Fairyhouse for a Grade 2,” said McConnell.

"He was very good the last day."
