On a day where there is no racing in Ireland, John McConnell sends a couple of runners across to Ffos Las in Wales.

Evies Wish contests the opening five furlong fillies' handicap with Paddy Bradley claiming 5lbs.

On her last start, she finished fifth at Tipperary and, prior to that, led before being headed over a furlong out to come in third in a six-furlong maiden at Carlisle.

George Downing is aboard Stander in the extended mile and three handicap.

The Famous Name colt has been unplaced in three maidens in Ireland and trades around 8/1 for this six-runner race.
