McCoy set for early comeback. Eight times English Champion Jockey Tony McCoy is hoping to return to raceriding within a week after breaking his cheekbone in three places last Monday.McCoy, who received a heavy fall from Polar Red at Plumpton, has been out for two months with a broken arm during the summer and is currently just seven winners ahead of Championship rival Richard Johnson. McCoy stated 'I don´t like to be out but it will hopefully be for only one week.' He added 'I want to be champion again and it´s the most important thing to me. I´m hoping to be back at the beginning of next week, so I shouldnt find myself 20 winners behind.'The Ulsterman is currently quoted at 1/5 favourite to land his ninth title.
