McCreery hopeful for Devonshire Devonshire aims to kick off her season in style in the Lodge Park Stud EBF Park Express Stakes at the Curragh on Sunday. Willie McCreery's charge enjoyed a fine campaign last term when third in the Irish 1,000 Guineas and gaining a Listed success on her penultimate start at Listowel. The Godolphin-owned filly was slightly unlucky on her final outing in the EP Taylor Stakes in Woodbine. Connections will aim to have another shot at top-level company with the daughter of Fast Company and hope Sunday's Group Three can be the springboard to another big year. "The ground and conditions should suit her and she seems in good form. We're looking forward to it," said McCreery "We'll see how she runs on Sunday and then we'll try to target her at a few Group Ones throughout the year. "Maybe the Matron could be a target, but she would need to step up." Military Angel bids to make the breakthrough at graded level having hit the cross-bar a few times last season. Michael O'Callaghan's charge was placed twice at this level and also finished runner-up in Listed company. "Military Angel was a decent filly last year who was placed in Group company so we're looking forward to getting her started again," said O'Callaghan. The Dermot Weld-trained Joailliere makes her first start since finishing a commendable ninth in the Irish 1,000 Guineas. The filly did not get the clearest run in the Classic on what was only her second career start after an impressive debut win at Gowran Park. Fluff is an interesting runner for Ballydoyle. The Galileo filly looked a talented sort when claiming a Navan maiden on her sole start last season.
