Troytown Chase hero Tout Est Permis could make his next appearance at Tramore on New Year’s Day.

The Gigginstown House Stud-owned five-year-old provided trainer Noel Meade with his first victory in the Navan feature since Heist struck gold in 1997 when impressing at the Proudstown circuit on Sunday.

And with the handicapper handing the grey a 12lb rise in the weights, Meade’s charge is likely to step up in class on his next start.

“Tout Est Permis is great after his win in the Troytown. I kind of knew he was going to get something like that (12lb rise) and we’ll probably go the other route with him now,” said the trainer.

“I did put him in the Paddy Power Chase in Leopardstown, but I can’t imagine us running him in it with top-weight.

“I entered him in the big race (Grade One Savills Chase) as well, but he might go to Tramore for the race there on New Year’s Day.

“We have Disko and Road To Respect as well.”
