Review ROSCOMMON 14TH JUN

Eddie Lynam struck form with a 19 to1 double, landed by Empirical Power and Stuttgart, at Roscommon last night.

Lynam has endured a series of placed efforts and described the result as 'like Dublin Buses. No winners in weeks, then two come along at once.'

Empirical Power (4/1) bounced out and made all in the Lecarrow (C&G) Maiden, beating Mums Reward by three lengths under Declan McDonogh.

Cathy Gannon continued her fine run of form when partnering Stuttgart (3/1f) to a length success in the Derrinstown Apprentice Handicap.

Former amateur rider Susan Finn got off the mark as a trainer when Chicanery landed the Tulsk Handicap.

Helen Keohane produced the gelding a furlong-and-a-half from home and the pair kept on well to repel Curtistown by half a length.

Jockey Bobby Molloy was also recording a first when Raheenboy gave him an initial success over fences in the JF Hanley Groundscare Handicap Chase.

David Casey left it late on Aston in the Keenan Bookmakers Handicap Hurdle while Moydrum Castle battled well to land the Elphin Maiden Hurdle from Danzig Bay.
