Perfect Woman extended her winning sequence to four in the Ballagh Mares Handicap Hurdle, the feature event at Thurles on Thursday.

A maiden on the Flat after 14 attempts, Tom Foley's charge challenged her pace-setting rival entering the home straight and although the runner-up refused to go down without a fight, the 9-10 favourite forged two and a half lengths ahead late on.

Thats Nice , the 1-3 favourite, was pulled up in the Thurles.ie Maiden Hurdle as South Circle cruised to a 19-length victory over Sussex Road .

Copy Print (6-1) opened his account with a half-length victory over Hannah's Lane in the Holycross Handicap Hurdle, while Gordon Elliott's Ball D'arc (2-1fav) was a comfortable ninth-length winner from Timmone in the closing Toboradora Flat Race.
