City Of Memphis looks set to step back into stakes company at Leopardstown on Sunday.

The Paddy Twomey-trained filly, fifth in last season’s Irish 1,000 Guineas, holds an entry in the Group 3 Al Shira’aa Racing ‘Mutamakina’ Stakes.

She made a winning return this season with a smooth success in a conditions race at Gowran Park last month, and Twomey is now eyeing black type with the daughter of Sioux Nation.

“She’s in on Sunday. I’m very happy with her and she might run,” said the Golden handler.

“It looks like a good next step for her. She’s taken all the steps and I definitely think she could run there.”
