Menorah going for International glory

Menorah is among ten entries for the StanJames.com International Hurdle at Cheltenham on Saturday.

The entries were left open for a further 24 hours after ten were entered for the race at the six-day stage on Monday, but there were no futher horses added to the field.

Menorah is generally 10/1 for the Arkle at the Cheltenham Festival but his novice chasing career is being put on hold for the time being.

He could face recent Fighting Fifth winner Overturn at Prestbury Park while Greatwood Hurdle winner Brampour is also a possible.

The latter's trainer Paul Nicholls could also be represented by Sanctuaire, while Brian Ellison could be triple-handed with Marsh Warbler, Abergavenny and Stormy Weather.

Nicky Henderson's Grandouet beat Marsh Warbler in the Betfair Hurdle at Haydock last time and those two could reoppose again.

Clerk's Choice and Pittoni complete the ten.
