Thankfully the weather is alot more pleasant compared to 12 months ago, and no problems are anticipated with the three Irish meetings scheduled for St Stephen's Day. Leopardstown kicks off their four day Christmas Festival meeting on Monday with the Grade 1 Racing Post Novice Chase the highlight on a seven race card beginning at 12.20pm. Limerick also holds a four day meeting next week, and the Grade 2 Greenmount Park Novice Chase is the centrepiece of their seven race card on Monday with the first race at 12.35pm. Racing also takes place north of the border at Down Royal where their seven race meeting begins at 12.30pm.
